orphanage Description:
Misc. Information:
Shunde, the hometown of flowers, is one of four cities under the
jurisdiction of Foshan City. Covering an area of 806 sq meters and
with a population of 1.05 million, Shunde City is situated in the
middle of the fertile Pearl River Delta, between Guangzhou and Hong
Kong. It was set up as a county in the 3rd year (1452 AD) of Jintai
reign of the Ming dynasty (1368-1644), and conferred with the administrative
status of a city in 1992 by the State Council.
Tourist destinations include the Qinghui Garden, located in Daliang
Township in Shunde, a traditional complex built mainly of wood and
brick during the Ming Dynasty. There are pavilions, kiosks, corridors,
porches and mansions with some zigzag paths and lotus ponds, as
well as a lot of well-cultivated flower plants and rare trees. Another
tourist site is Baolin Temple, built in 917 AD and restored and
removed to Mt.Taipingshan in Daliang. It is one of the earliest
temples in Shunde, said to have existed before Shunde was set up.

• Finding Ads -
Finding ads are published by the orphanage as the first step for
international adoption. The photos used in the ads pre-date a child's
referral photo by several months. Additionally, information contained
in the ads is very valuable to adoptive families, especially those
who have not traveled yet.
